Hello, I have a 02 Toyota Highlander. Its my first car. It does have 321k on the clock. But hey beggars can’t be choosers. My dad drove the car back and forth from work. Until it started having electrical problems. So he parked it cause he drives 60 miles to work everyday and couldn’t risk it dying on him again. He’s a great mechanic but he works 6 days a week and the time I get off work never seems to line up with his days off to work on it. So I thought I’d try and fix it myself. Or just get a general idea of what I could be looking at/ for. I put a charger On the battery(it’s a fairly new battery) took it around 35 minutes for it to charge. I started it and it ran for about a minute, then it sounded choked off and it died. When I went to start it back it was like the battery was completely dead again. My dad had the alternator tested at napa and they said it was fine. One think I read said it could be a mass airflow sensor. I’d really appreciate and help or suggestions on what I could look into/ at to help resolve the issue. Thanks for reading.
