Car's details: 150k miles, 2.5L Gas, daily for 4 years now (bought at about 30k miles).

I got the low engine oil light a day ago where it blinked on and off for about 10 seconds, went away for a minute, then repeated that same cycle for 5-10 minutes then completely went away for the rest of the drive. Figured low oil, went to AAP and bought a 4 quart, put it all in, levels checked out to the appropriate level.

Fast forward to this morning, get into my car, start driving after warming it up for a few minutes and the engine oil light comes on again and does the same exact thing. From reading the manual and doing research online, looks like maybe a faulty oil pressure sensor? However from researching this more happens when the light is blinking consistently, not going off after 5 minutes or so. Car isn't riding rough at all, has a bit of lag when accelerating from a stop but that's happened since I got it (I believe from my research that is intended, due to some tweak VW made for the MK6 line), and no odd noises or anything from the engine.
