I've created a similar post before, but have more information to maybe help me narrow down thoughts from others. My check engine light has come on sporadically since I've owned the truck (5 years). On hot days, the trans temp light comes on, turns off, and sometimes in park it comes on for no reason, sometimes beeping, sometimes there's no beep at all and will even just flash off and on with no pattern like my computer is having a seizure. On rare occasion, the oil light will come on and beep like 20 times, again with no pattern and then stop after about ten minutes and not come back on.

The main problem is that the computer seems to be messing with my transmission more and more, to the point that I'm nervous to drive it (even though it usually drives fine). I'm kind of in a pickle because I can't pass emissions because of the check engine light and I cannot afford a major repair.

Are there any possible issues that can be easily fixed? I would say I'm just a notch above average with vehicle repair and diagnostics compared to the average person.
