2008/Volkswagen/Polo 1.6 - question about the dashboard indicator lights

Hi guys! First time driver and car owner here, so sorry if this seems like a silly question!

I just got a car (not new) and this is my dilemma: when I put the key in, all the dashboard lights light up for a second or two, then they all turn off (which is normal) and only these three are left lit up:

charging system failure (red light) EPC (yellow light) check engine light (yellow)

Once I turn the key and start the engine, these three lights turn off as well and they do not turn on while I’m driving. The car is going smoothly as well, so no issues.

My question is: is there any reason these three lights turn off last and what could it be? :)
