Hyundai sonata smoking HELP!

Yesterday i drove for an hour in my 2006 hyundai sonata 4cyl. 138000 miles. And when i parked i noticed smoke coming out of the front grill. I opened the hood and it looked like the cooling fan wasnt working but i couldnt tell because it was dark and raining. The car was not over heating temp gauge read normal. Any idea what this would be? Would replacing the fan help?
