Some background first, I changed the oil in my car 2,000 miles ago or so and did it myself instead of having the dealership do it to save some money. I used valvolines 5W-20 max life synthetic blend and a NAPA Gold filter. After that it started to burn a little bit of oil since the car has 160,000k miles on it I didn't think much and added a bit every now and then. Not even a quarter of a quart at a time. A week ago I hit a raccoon and had it in the body shop and just got it back Wednesday. The damage was whole new bumper wheel well liner splash guard and a air resonator also a alignment. So on my way home from work today I noticed my car was starting to over heat and it being cold out this was a little extra concerning so I turned the heat all the way up and made it home about 10-15 miles. The car did great except for overheating not knocks pinging etc, after letting it cool down I checked my coolant it was completely drained and my oil is milky and very foamy. I'm pretty sure it's a head gasket. I'm wondering what are all my options here? If my oil choice or raccoon hit did anything to possibly cause this? Any help is appreciated I've done starters and brakes but nothing with taking the engine apart yet.
