Jack ans Jack Stands Advice

So Ive recently moved and my new home only has a yard and gravel driveway. I usually work on my own car, but Ive always had blacktop or a paved driveway to work on. Now Ive got to use my jack and jack stands on either the grass or gravel, which Ive never done before. You got any advice or anything on working on those kind of surfaces? Much appreciated.
