Hi All,
I am hoping I can get some feedback on this issue. I had my 2015 Ford F150 3.5 EcoBoost serviced by my local Ford dealership on 4/11 (oil, front brakes, fluids flushed). Ever since then, I hear a rubbing/whining noise at low speeds that seems to be coming from the front left. I also have noticed a 3mpg decrease. The brakes are hot after driving, but I am not sure what temperature indicates a rubbing problem. My truck seems to be running as if it is pushing something (if that is an accurate description?). I've already encountered the 4wd vacuum issue in the past and had that part replaced.
All I can figure is that the dealership screwed up the brake job. I am thinking of going to a mom & pop mechanic shop to have the brake job inspected, before heading back to the dealership. I love Ford, but I am not too fond of the national chain dealership group that is near me.
I've researched on the internet, but I am not auto savvy, so I came here to inquire of the experts. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
