Howdy! I'm heading this weekend to take a look at the above mentioned Jeep. I'll be honest here, I don't know much about cars. My knowledge is basic. That being said, I'm looking for an older 4WD vehicle to make mine and dump my love into. Ideally I'd learn the ins and outs of the vehicle and teach myself a shitload of stuff along the way.
That being said, while I want a long term vehicle and am not too concerned about learning how to do repair/maint work myself, I want to be smart about this purchase.
So, my trusted mechanics of Reddit, is there any advice on what to be aware of as it relates to this specific vehicle make/model/year, or that I should know looking at older vehicles in general?
