My jeep has been sputtering quite a bit recently. I mean at 203k miles it isn't surprising. But I'm just looking for a fix. 4,000 miles ago I replaced the head gasket. So I can rule that out because it remains at operating temperature, the coolant level hasn't diminished, and the heater works perfectly.
I took it to autozone to run the codes and they said the recommended part to replace was the ignition coil. Did that, didn't work. Plugs have been changed about 5,000 miles ago. Replaced the IAT sensor. The wires look good, but those are my next step.
Is there anything else I could do for a checklist that i could replace and hopefully solve my problem?
EDIT: I fixed the problem. With some research and calls to a dealership. My problem was that my plugs were platinum, and for some reason my engine doesn't agree well with them. Threw some coppers in there and it's running like new. Thanks for the help guys!
