I have a 2003 Ford Explorer V8…I got in a little fender bender and was attempting to straighten out the bent metal behind the front passenger headlight by strapping a chain to a tree and going in reverse (may have been a poor choice but alas) I was obviously getting resistance and so I floored it. The chain came unhooked and I went shooting backwards. I hit the E brake and turned it off (less than a foot from a large pole) anyway…now when I start the engine, it’s at full rev and if I put it in forward or reverse it just goes full throttle. The ignition pedal is loose sort of dangling with Lots of play. What did I do?? The link is to a video.
