Tips on Seized engine, overheat and no crank or start
Post Body

I gotta car engine that won’t start. Melted the oil dip stick but not the handle. The entire dipstick is plastic. Engine didn’t catch fire though. This car has not had a/C My plan to get engine back online is:

  1. Remove battery.
  2. Drain coolant.
  3. Flush cooling circuit with water.
  4. Dismantle radiator A. Radiator fan no spin.
    B. A/C condenser fan no spin.
  5. Inspect or test thermometer sensor.
  6. Remove cabin air filter. A. Remove trim leading to blown fan / motor. B. Remove/Replace transistor in blower motor assembly.
  7. Remove upper air intake assembly.
  8. Remove and inspect gap in spark plugs.
  9. Hit air compressed down combustion chambers to see about coolant and oil contamination in combustion chambers. …. Sometimes I need to shake my chainsaw to get it to start. This is when I prime the fuel and attempt more then 1 time to have chainsaw engine boot up.
  10. Remove engine motor mounts, somehow shake or drop engine. I also bought starting fluid, may try this before I remove mounting for engine.

What are some other things I can do about the engine no start?

A/C hi pressure line has two major kinks and this may also be something I will replace.

What else can I do to try to see about getting the engine to start and become cooled?
