How do I improve or maintain my car's performance (2008 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS)?

I inherited a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe and it has treated me quite well. I want to improve her performance or simply keep her in tip-top shape (for sentimental and pragmatic reasons). What are some easy internal tweaks, maintenance, or services I can make? I put in some LED's for headlights and plan on doing a delicate engine bay clean. I am a car mechanical novice, though. She has 142,000 Miles on her. I would like to do some interior electronic modernization and some aesthetic improvements, but I figure it is best to start with the important bits and then move onto comfort or quality-of-life improvements.
