Vehicle has a EVAP code for a “small leak detected” and all monitors are green on OBD2 reader. I performed a visual inspection and saw these oil wet spots from the intake plenum; as well as on the side ports small oil wet spots. No other leaks, damaged or cracked hoses seen in the vehicles EVAP system. I have inspected the O2 sensors on both banks and feel confident in determining the unmetered air is not from the exhaust manifold or further down. Would you think it wise to replace the intake plenum gaskets as a possible solution to the P0456 code?
