2021 VW Jetta Latenight Advice - fuel door and trunk release on drivers door

Post Body

Got home from work a couple of hours ago, went to pop open the trunk. And the switch did nothing. Just felt like some really floppy plastic with no feedback. If it was just the trunk, I wouldn't be so worried, but I couldnt find an emergency release for the fuel filler door in the trunk.

All of the other controls in the car work perfectly, including all of the drivers door controls. All of the the interior lights are working fine.

Really in a bit of a panic about running out of gas, as well as the possible cost. I don't have much in the way of tools or space.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. I have been scouring the internet for 2 hours, but I can't find anything for this model year.
