Best advice for engine
Post Body

2016 Hyundai sonata limited 2.4L Recently on the way back from college it gave out. Wouldn’t crank and the break was stuck. Got a battery and started thinking that it would fix the issue but It didn’t. Took it to the mechanic and he says my engine is locked up. Basically it will cost me 5500 to replace. I don’t have that type of money I’m a college student. And no I can’t afford to buy another car simply cuz I still owe money on this car. I’ve checked for recalls because Hyundai engines have had recalls but my cars vin says I don’t. I really just need advice on how I can go about this without have to spend 5500!
