What’s loose here?

2015 Mitsubishi mirage Cvt transmission fwd
I was finishing a brake job when I noticed that this was hanging kind of low. I shook it and finally realized what’s been making noise for the past few months. From what I understand, the exhaust pipe runs through the catalytic converter and resonator. So what does that connect to at the front then? My guess is the engine right? What exactly is loose and is it an easy fix?
