We have a 2016 Nissan NV 3500 with around 85k miles on it. Oftentimes when you crank it, you see smoke come out of the exhaust for a few seconds.
The van is using oil, which requires me to add maybe a quart every couple of weeks.
There is never any oil on the driveway where it is parked.
We had a mechanic friend look at it, he suggested some seal might be the issue, wanted us to track just how much oil it uses. He didn't seem enthused to dig in to the issue.
Is this enough information for anyone to make some educated guesses?
