Not sure if this is the right sub, but yall know cars better than I do so Id like y'alls opinion.
Ive got a 2009 toyota sienna with engine problems. Its gonna require either a decent amount of work and or money to either fix, or just outright replace. Im opting to sell it to someone else as I have neither the time nor the money to do either and I have a different vehicle to get to work now. Everything else runs fine.
My confusion comes with the amount of people blowing up my phone that want to buy it within just a few hours of me posting it, a new experience from some past sales. Not just buy, but are basically throwing cash at me to buy it now, now, now. I set it to $500 because the kbb value was about 1k for a functioning vehicle. Am I missing something here? Should I be scrapping the car over selling it private? I think people want to buy it mostly for parts, what would be the best way to go about doing that?
