I keep getting a notification that I have low coolant on my car. It’s a 2022 MB CLA with 20000 miles on it. I’ve had it a little over a year which is why I’m surprised it is coming up with low coolant.
I got some coolant at Walmart but the engine was warm yesterday and I didn’t add it yet. Before I add it, is there a reason a year old car would be low on coolant? Is it normal or a sign of a bigger problem? I’m supposed to take the car for service next week when I have time off, will adding the coolant now prevent a bigger problem from being discovered when it’s in the shop for service?
