First time cv axle replacement
Post Body

I’m replacing the driver’s side cv axle on my 2016 Mazda cx5 and I think I’m done except there’s a gap between the new cv axle and the transmission. Everywhere I go it says there shouldn’t be a gap , It slid in pretty easily. I was told that if I can pull it out then it’s not seated properly, but I can’t pull it out as is right now. Do I need to push it in harder? Or what’s the issue? Any advice is appreciated thank you.
