Post Body

So my 2010 toyota prius has 175k miles on it. I get a vibration and a noise from the Passenger side at any speed over 50. The noise does not change pitch with speed, but it does get louder. It turns into a metallic Growl when I am going around a left hand bend at speed (30 ) and does not make any noise at low speeds (under 20). Using the brakes when the noise is happening does not change or stop the sound either. I took it to my local mechanic for a quick look and he wasn't able to figure it out that day, but he did rule out the brakes and wheel bearings (fronts were both replaced as we thought it was the noise...no change) I'm not quite sure what else to look at. Might be related, but occasionally I hear a single clunk on acceleration from a stop. Thoughts are maybe a CV or motor mount?
