I have a 1994 Yamaha Kodiak 400 that doesn't have top end power. Just replaced the plug, coil, cdi box and air filter. Before the carburetor replacement it had no power under load and was carbon fouling plugs like crazy. Thinking the casting was messed up where the main jet went in. Now it has plenty of low end power but will sputter and bog trying to reach higher rpms. Plug looks perfect after riding it around so I know the mixture is set. Could it be the spark arrestor? Not sure what else to check? Would it hurt anything to just remove it from the exhaust? Thanks in advance
