I have a 1994 Yamaha Kodiak 400 that keeps carbon fouling plugs. I've completely gone through the carburetor twice to make sure the float is sealing and it's not flooding out. It always starts up and idles great. I can even pin the throttle in neutral without a issue. Problem is it stutters in gear mid to high throttle or going over bumps and especially going up a hill. Loading it on a trailer is a nightmare. Always starts right back up if it stalls. Feels like my 1998 Corolla I had in highschool red lining when it stumbles in first gear. Never stalls out in first. Only when going up a hill. Yes I've adjusted the carb for hours. I've gone 1/4 turn out all the way to 3 turns out. Seems to run idle best around 1 3/4 out. Is it worth trying a ignition coil or should I try something else? I just don't want to be stuck on a trail hunting with no cell service. Thanks in advance.
