Broke screw extractor in broken screw
Post Body
Hey all. Yep, this happened. It was getting tight, and I kept going like an idiot. Then the bolt snapped inside the block.
Any advice would be helpful. I googled this happening to others. Some said weld something to it, and loosen it that way. Would that be possible for me in this situation? Is this block cast iron? Would it not bond to the block?
I’ve read about diamond carbide bits that cost $80, but don’t want to go that route if I don’t have too…
