So on this particular day I started the machine up, spent about 5 minutes swapping out an attachment and then proceeded to drive up to where I'm situated on this hill and about when I got the spot I was going to dig, leveled myself, and just was lightly racking the surface, the machine decided to turn itself off and not display the error code. The screen did say something like "system error" briefly during the shutdown and then I turned off the ignition myself figuring that's what I should probably do if the machine decided to turn itself off.
So here we are, I got a chunk of metal on the side of the hill that clearly had a computer initiated shut down but doesn't tell me why and doesn't allow me to restart, just cranks. Checked all fuses, can still hear low pressure fuel pump, drained a little bit of water that was in my separator out.
Fairly capable backyard mechanic. However, not much experience at all with diesels and this is why I got a new machine so I wouldn't have to deal with problems like this. But alas, here we are 7 months after the 2 year warranty expired. Called the dealer, didn't have much to tell me, Said they were calling me back.
