Issues bolting engine stiffener back on and need help!!!

I hace run out of ideas and turned to Reddit. This engine stiffener bracket refused to seat in nicely onto the motor/trans. It’s for a 2001 Honda prelude. Motor was replaced with a H22a4 from a auto prelude. Mine is a 5speed manual. I don’t know why it won’t line up with the bolt holds. I’ve considered the oil pan being different but found no such evidence to on any forum. If you guys have advice please let me know. I worked on it for 3 hours with no luck. All I need is to put that stiffener back on to be done with my engine replacement
