Engine Air Filter Compartment

Went for a routine oil change at dealership.
Followed up by a smog check by a local dealership where they do "vehicle checks" without permission to advise for service.
One of the twp broke my entire clip and bracket to hold down the engine air filter. I have a spare clip but no use no bracket to fit it in.
Anything I can do to get a more secure hold or will I be fine? I can see the edge of the new filter where it was broke but it seems to be closed.
