Hey, all. So I noticed a small puddle, about 4" in diameter, under my truck yesterday morning. Asked my mechanics to take a look at it since it was going in for brake work anyway.

They called saying it was a coolant leak and would need to replace the upper radiator hose, T connection, and water pump. They said it was a cold leak. I read up on the issue and it appears to be pretty common to this generation of F150s. But from what I also read, the solution is mainly replacing the O rings, and possibly the T connection if it appears cracked/worn out, but not the water pump.

I'm not necessarily the most mechanically inclined, but doing the O rings and T connection seem simple(ish) enough to do on my own from what I watched. Should I just start here and see if that solves the leaking? Or should I just go ahead and have them replace the water pump as well? Truck has got about 116,500 miles on it.
