Should I buy??

My coworker has a 2007 bmw 328i and offered to sell it to me, they've said the oil pan is leaking and it's been taken to a "mechanic" (she never specified a mechanic fixed it, just that she payed for it to get fixed)to be fixed but the issue still occurs. She hasn't decided how much she wants for it but it should be relatively low.
