Crank shaft position sensor
Post Body

06 Santa Fe 3.5L, crank but no start. I have a crankshaft position sensor code and cylinder 6 misfire code. The misfire code I can’t figure out, but my main question in this post is as follows. On my harbor freight scanner I can look at live data, and it shows 0 rpm when I try to start. The car will catch just a little bit, but shouldn’t the scanner read a change in RPM here? Could that lead me to believe the crankshaft position sensor itself is bad?
