My mothers Santa Fe isn’t starting. It cranks but won’t turn over. Also kinda sounds like it wants to turn over/almost turns over. A while ago it felt like it was possibly misfiring. I couldn’t tell for sure because it’s a v6, and my own i4 canry misfired once and I really felt it. I figured maybe since there’s more cylinders in her car, you wouldn’t feel it as much. Anyways, I banged on the gas tank in hopes I’d shock the fuel pump and get it started. That didn’t work. I smelled gas coming out of the exhaust so I think I can assume it’s getting gas… that’s really my only question. Is it safe to assume it’s getting gas?
