Backstory: I busted my driver side tail light lense about 2 months ago. The other day I realized that my rear running lights were not working on my driver side, however, the turn signal and the brake lights work fine, which I thought was odd because they are all the same bulbs. I purchased a new twilight assembly that came with a new tail light housing, all new bulbs, all new sockets, and the wiring harness. When I went to plug in the new tail light assembly, there was water inside of the old plug-in. I figured this was the issue. I cleaned and dried out the old plug-in before plugging in my new wiring harness. I am still having the same issue. Turn signals and brake lights are fine, but no running lights. I checked the fuse and relay and switched them out and this did not help. I also took apart the plug-in again and used alcohol and a pipe cleaner brush to clean the old plug-in in case it was corroded, (it came out good and looks clean) and made sure it was completely dry before plugging in the warning harness again, then I un-grounded the battery and plugged it back in a few minutes later, and still, no running lights.
Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post!
