Backline mobile beacon "meta" is lame. Doubly so in 2v2.
Post Body

It's anti-fun meta. "Let me just mobile beacon my spawners so they spawn a bunch of shit and avoid the confrontation as long as humanly possible so I can win!"

I get the point of the game is to win, but really the point of the game is to have fun, and this is anti-fun in my opinion.

Special shout out to phoenix reconstitution strategies, which is the same thing. IMO Reconstitution should have a max range (it should be pretty wide, but not map-wide. Like 300m or something).

Also, in my opinion you shouldn't be able to mobile beacon to your ally's side of the field, or maybe you can mobile to his "flanks" but that's it. It sucks because it would remove some legit strategies, but also some people are doing this "bunch up all my units in a tiny location and haul them over to my ally's side to overwhelm their opponent" strategy and it's the same basic thing. It's like a HYPER strong/weak side play and it's dumb.

I'd like some more ways to interact with my ally and his opponent, and I think the devs should explore options like that (such as what someone else suggested, which was a giant battlefield in the center and you and your ally are ACROSS from each other instead of next to each other), but this is not the way, in my opinion.

I have a few other complaints about the game, but this is the big one, and it seems every other game that me and my friend are playing, people end up doing this. It's really strong, so I get why they do it, but it's not fun. We refuse to do it because it's just not fun. I don't want to win like that. At this point I think it needs dev intervention, though, because a lot of people (understandably) have a 'win at all costs' mindset.
