(Advice) 509 AAMC FL1 with 1 month to go
Post Body

Hey gang,

Much thanks in advance to anyone to who reads through this/offers advice:

I'm writing on 8/26 and just wrote AAMC FL1, scoring 128/126/128/127. This is the 4th FL I've written since starting to study. The exams I've taken are as follows:

TPR 1 (502, 124/125/126/127)

TPR 2 (500, 124/125/124/127), 1 week after TPR 1

NS1 (508, 127/126/128/127) , 1 week after TPR 2

and as above, AAMC FL1 (509, 128/126/128/127)

with my goal being a 514.

Thus far, the only exam I've thoroughly reviewed is TPR 1, so I'll make it a point to go over everything from here on out. While my sciences are moving along reasonably well, my CARS has barely budged and PS hasn't moved at all. I find this weird because I'm getting about 80% of the questions right in the CARS QPacks & my PS was actually a 126 before I did any studying (wrote a TPR diagnostic). I have the Miledown deck downloaded & I've bought UPangea (~30% done), but I do admit to doing Anki infrequently (maybe 2x a week). To pump up my CARS/PS, would it be advisable to dig in on the FL review, ensure I'm getting daily PS Anki/do UPangea PS, and be super strict about an hr of CARS every day?

Does a 514 or 515 sound possible with 1 month to go? I'm putting a minimum of 40 hrs of studying in per week alongside full-time work but could bump that to 50. When all's said and done, I'll have committed at least 450 hrs to prep since mid May.

Again, thanks so much for any advice,

Cheers!
