When someone places a mobile order... does it go to the restaurant right away? Or does the restaurant not receive it until the customer arrives? Most of the time I'll place the order from my house, arrive 8-10 minutes later, and they've just started preparing it. I don't know if that's just how the McD's around here operate or if that's standard operating procedure. I so wish the restaurant would go ahead & start preparing the food (especially since we pay for the order through the app) so that the food is done and ready to be picked up the moment we walk in the door.
