I have a question about double drive-through lane correct operation. Here's the scenario ... assume there's two cars in each lane A and lane B. A1 orders, then both B1 and B2 (me) finish their orders before A2 does. When you merge back together, do you continue to alternate cars from each lane, or should B2 merge ahead of A2? The last two times I was at a McD, I, B2, have done it both ways. The first time, even though my completed ordering before A2, we alternated merge and A2 was ahead of me. The were handed my food, just like I expected. The next time, I didn't allow A2 to merge ahead of me and they got pissed, but I got the right food. Is McD responsible for keeping track of what car goes with what order, and they fucked up in the first scenario? Or are the customers responsible for merging in the right order?
