Attendance policy is a bit ridiculous

Hey guys! So, I know every McDonald’s can have their own attendance policy and that’s fine, but I think the one at mine is excessive. One call of with no doctors note and no coverage is a write up. Which I understand, you’re leaving them short staffed so consider it a warning. Well, I had a mental health crisis and went to the hospital last night and was unable to call in for my 8 AM shift. When I finally did call after I was given my phone back, my manager told me I “needed to handle it better” and that I would be written up if I didn’t get a doctors note. At my store, two write ups is a suspension. So idk what to do-
