Im trying to modify the roland driver file for mac to install on osx 10.6.8 on an old macbook pro that has a firewire interface that won't work with the current version.
Is it possible to modify the info.plist so that it will bypass the OS check and install it?
Is there another way to bypass the version checking?
I can put it into generic driver mode and get the 2 out, but really want those 4 individual outputs. Really wish these grooveboxes came with an output for each slider/track. Seems kinda wasted to have only the mix output available to those too.
Am I overlooking a way to assign say an 808 to the L and a 909 to the right? and have them be independent besides hard panning max L or R? Doing that makes it sound really weird, is that mono?
