Question about Paramount “Live”

I just started season 3 and notice that the episodes are “Live,” which means I can’t back up or skip ahead. This is super irritating. Is there a way to watch it so it’s not “Live?” I have kids and get distracted and miss pieces or have to pause in the middle of an episode and not being able to skip back and forth within the episode makes it not even worth watching.
