Why does it seem Disney hates Admiral Ackbar?

Ackbar is one of my favorite legends characters. I even wrote a fan fiction in high school as the son of Ackbar. But the more I watch Disney’s canon, the more I realize Disney hates the character.

Killing him off by sucking him out a window in The Last Jedi. He should’ve been the one to sacrifice himself to save the Resistance troops, not Holdo (we could’ve gotten some great stories with her)
Having him not be the reason the Mon Cala join the Rebellion and giving that role to Admiral Raddus. Mom Mothma said at one point “Without Admiral Ackbar and his people, we would all be the Emperor's slaves.”
The B-Wing. In Legends, Ackbar is responsible for designing the B-Wing with the Verpine. Rebels took that from him and gave it to Quarrie.
