Hi y'all, I've learned a lot browsing this sub so thanks for that. We (wife and I) are coming to Maui from Feb 10-28 and are trying to figure out how to do this. We are thinking we will split our stay up between 3 different locations. Has anyone done something similar?

We're thinking probably Kihei area and Napili area, but could definitely be swayed in that.

Then we were thinking maybe 2-3 nights in Hana so we can really experience that aspect. Is this a good or bad idea?

Wife has been to Hawaii several times but this is my first time (also her first time to Maui, so we are basically idiots)

I'll keep reading the sub as much as possible but if anyone has any specific tips about anything at all, I'm all ears.

Notes: we are late 30s, looking for active entertainment and beautiful sights. We are down for moderate-difficult hikes and swimming. We aren't x-games athlete insane but pretty good shape. We'd like to minimize costs wherever possible but budget is not a huge limiting factor.

Thanks!
