Bad idea? Buying latex organic mattress from a local store that makes it themselves?
Post Body

We have a natural mattress store in our a little small town in Oregon. The owner has been making beds for over 30 years. He says the beds come with a 20 year warranty but of course if he closes store that’s the end of that. They are latex with wool/silk/other fancy material toppers… or just latex… he says that due to materials they will last forever anyway and we won’t need the warranty. We are hesitant to try it as he isn’t related to a big brand we can trust for returns or warranty down the road . He has a 3 month trial period but a restocking fee of 15% which comes out to $500… if we could try for free we would be more confident…

Go for it or sketchy?

Seconding Sleep On Latex. Fabulous customer service. I’ve bought 2 mattresses from them. Very generous return/exchange policy and I’ve never had better sleep in my life.
