How bad is it to partially tape over my bed's slats?
Post Body

Hello, I have a queen size storage bed. The drawers are uncovered(bad design), so dust gets in. I put some tape on the slats where this happens, but after, I realized I'm reducing the airflow. I added the numbers together, and I've reduced the airflow purely from the slats by 28%, which I'll just round up to 30%. The part where the mattress meets the headboard is open slightly, at two areas the mattress doesn't fully cover. So a smidge of air gets in there. And the bed has a sort of "hutch" that is open at the back, which is probably where most of the air comes from, as the rest of the bed is pretty closed off. But air is coming and going through there, I figure. So is reducing this airflow this way super significant, and could it cause mold or some other shenanigans? Or am I just being an over-paranoid goober?

And I drew a diagram thingy which I'll put in the comments.

Edit: The red dots are the areas where air flows in and out. And are "holes" basically, that are open to the air.
