Maybe not your typical post, but thank you.
All my life I have been called a delicate hot house flower. My sister came up with the term because of break out in a rash at almost anything. I bruise if you look at me wrong. In 7th grade we switch laundry detergent, I has such a bad reaction I was sent home from school and almost hospitalized. If I touch detergent s with something (not sure what) in them I break out in secondsm I can't use certain brands of toilet paper. When I was 16 a spider bite sent me to the hospital for a week. I have "allergies" to pork and coconut. I've had horrible breathing problems when cooking bacon for other people. I almost stopped breathing after drinking hot chocolate (I thought it was the coconut oil in it, but apparently maybe not) . Someone mentioned bringing up MCAS to a doctor and I started looking into it. Reading here, reading other reddit forums and websites. Sharing it with my sister she said "you are the poster child for mcas. The MCASiest of MCAS". The number of similarities is mind boggling.
But for the first time I don't feel alone I might have answers. I might be able to have treatment.
I might be a hot house flower, but I'm not the only one.
