(Unfortunately, I can't edit the title from "Telework" to "Teleworker." Aargh.) Hey there, Redditors. Hope everyone is enjoying the uncharacteristically warm and pleasant weather out there. I took a short walk in a park but came back home before long, since I'm a homebody, and took a nap, after watching some crappy reality TV.
The title of my ad is inspired by a song by the Wallflowers, a band that I think never got the recognition it deserved. I casually enjoy music, and in particular, like pumped up songs in the gym, but I would not call myself a *music enthusiast*. Nevertheless, I like what I like, and years ago, I owned the Wallflowers CD "Bringing Down the Horse" and really liked all of the songs on there, which is very odd for me. (You're going to be tempted to talk to me about music, but chances are that I'll only recognize the songs you like if they've made it to the Billboard top 40 between 1980 and 2016, at which point I got Sirius XM in my car.)
Let's talk about friendships. I have local acquaintances, but my good friends are not near me. It's harder for men to make friends than it is for women -- especially as we get older. I have no problem making small talk with people, but I tend to gravitate towards talking to particularly intelligent people. The three people that I used to enjoy talking to had PhDs, and two of them had PhDs in engineering. (The social sciences PhD got grandfathered in because I knew him since my teens. And I say "used to enjoy talking to" because one guy let our friendship lapse, despite my repeated attempts to keep it on life support.)
Don't let the previous paragraph scare you away. You don't have to be the sharpest knife in the box for me to like you. I'm not looking for the exact same thing in a romantic partner as I was looking for in those three men, and I didn't always talk to those guys about lofty matters, either. Inside jokes, being goofy, and laughing easily go a long way towards a romantic friendship.
I could tell you more about me in this ad, but I'll let you contact me to continue this journey, since I've already written a fair amount. In terms of what I'm seeking in a woman, I'd like a lady who is easygoing; at least average in intelligence; tends to ask questions and follow-up questions instead of just talking during conversations; is not only tolerant of, but what would appreciate being a homebody with me; is very physically affectionate; and has a high libido. Bonus points if you can telework with me, including periodic morning/afternoon/evening delight during the work day. ;-)
I don't really care if you are blue collar or white collar or if you are college educated or not, but I *will* get irritated if you are the sort to put on a dating profile that you don't want to date someone "who votes for or at all supports <insert name of candidate you hate>." Remember, I want an easygoing lady.
Pic for pic. Hope you all find someone suitable for you.
