PC possible glitch in Breakout

Just started playing and so far have been enjoying the game. I'm doing the Breakout mission and am on the 'sabotage the transformers'.
But even before you hit the terminal both transformers look like they do when they(according to YouTube) they have been destroyed not giving me the option to do it and further the story mission.
I've reloaded the save, the game, used 3 different characters, and have done all the above from a backup save with no luck.
Any ideas?
