X-Men Recommendation?
Post Body

I'm about to start delving into X-Men for the first time. Starting with Giant-Size, then Uncanny X-Men #94 and just slowly make my way through until I get to current day in like 10 years. Are there any adjacent books that are worth reading along the way? Like character spin-offs or other teams or even adjacent X-Men teams that are enjoyable or important to not miss.

Partially it's just particularly annoying on MU, because stories jumping between titles means you have to jump in and out of menus each issue

Excalibur is really fun - it's not like, super essential for the Canon, it's just a really fun book.

I wouldn't skip the Woverine miniseries - Frank Miller is the one person who almost gets Claremont to tone it down and keep quiet for a couple of pages (not that I kind the Claremontisms!).

Once you get to 1992ish in the main X titles, I'd skip ahead to New X-Men and then Astonishing X-Men. But do read both X-Factor runs by Peter David. I'd also recommend Exiles.

"Chris Claremont" is the answer really
