Low yellow star symbiotes for DD3

So, I have SSM at 3y3r and same for anti-venom. And I don't think can go much further in terms of stars (I guess why?). Should I still be focusing on them for DD3 city lane? Would they be viable at such low stars?
I have carnage at 5y4r though. Would that help?
