I've seen a lot of opponents play Nebula to the right on turn 1. This is an intuitive play to make, but in my experience it is generally better to play Nebula to the left location on turn 1.
The reason is simply because it is much more common for an opponent to play a 1 drop to the left location on turn 1. Nebula's ability can't trigger the turn she's played, so you want to play her where your opponent is most likely to play that turn to reduce the number of times an opponent can play into Nebula on subsequent turns.
This isn't to say that this is ALWAYS correct. It's just statistically going to lead to slightly bigger Nebulas.
